About OzoneFlow Heating & Cooling

OzoneFlow Heating & Cooling repairs heating and cooling systems for homes in and around Fremont. Our job is to find out why your furnace, air conditioner, or heat pump isn't working right, explain it in plain language, and fix it in a way that makes sense for your home and budget. We focus on repair first, because a working system that can be fixed usually should be.

How we approach a repair

Every service call starts with a diagnosis, not a sales pitch. We check the system, look for the actual cause of the problem, and walk you through what we found before any work begins. If a part has failed, we tell you which one and why. If something else is likely to cause trouble soon, we point it out so you can decide whether to deal with it now or later.

When there's more than one reasonable way to fix something, we lay out the options side by side so you can choose. We would rather you understand your system than feel rushed into a decision.

  • Diagnose first, then recommend
  • Explain findings in plain terms before starting work
  • Present repair options, not just one answer
  • Leave the work area as clean as we found it

Repair or replace: an honest conversation

Bay Area Air District rules on gas furnaces and water heaters do not require you to replace equipment that still works. They only come into play when an existing unit fails or is replaced. So if your furnace can be repaired, keeping it running is a perfectly valid choice, and we'll treat it that way.

Replacement does make sense sometimes, such as when repairs keep stacking up or a major component fails on an older system. When that comes up, we'll explain the trade-offs, including how upcoming emission standards for new gas furnaces may affect your options down the road. If you're weighing a heat pump, we can help you check BayREN and your local clean energy provider for current incentives, and we confirm what's actually available before discussing it. The federal 25C tax credit for heat pumps ended for systems placed in service after 2025, so we won't count on it in any recommendation.

Work suited to the Fremont area

Homes around Fremont and the South Bay deal with dry summers and mild, damp winters, and neighborhoods farther inland or to the south tend to get noticeably hotter in summer than those close to the Bay. That means air conditioners and heat pumps can work hard for stretches of the year, while heating systems may sit idle for months and then get switched on when the weather turns.

We keep those patterns in mind when we diagnose problems and give advice. A system that rarely runs can develop different issues than one that runs every day, and we look for both.

What to expect

How a visit goes

  1. Find the cause first

We test and inspect before recommending a repair, so you aren't paying to swap parts that were never the problem.

  2. Explain your options

We tell you what we found, what fixing it involves, and when replacement is worth considering. Then the decision is yours.

  3. Size new systems properly

For AC installation, we look at your home, not just the old unit's label, so the new system fits the space it has to cool.

Need Your AC or Heat Looked At?

Tell us what your system is doing and when it started. We'll set up a visit, find the cause, and explain your options before any work begins.
